Calculations stay in your browser
The calculator performs its arithmetic in your browser. This launch does not have accounts, a database, a server-side scenario store, advertising, analytics, or third-party browser scripts. Calculator inputs are not sent to a price API or other remote calculation service.
The site does not set cookies or use browser storage for calculator state. The two calculator drafts exist only in the current page’s memory. Changing calculator preserves them in that page; reloading does not save them unless you explicitly keep a shared link. Browser history state contains navigation only, not financial drafts.
Normal hosting requests still occur
Like any hosted website, requesting a page or asset sends normal connection and request information to the hosting infrastructure. The launch is served through Cloudflare Workers Static Assets. Such requests can include an IP address, user agent, requested path, time, and technical delivery/security data handled by the host.
No claim is made that ordinary hosting infrastructure receives no request data.
Shared links
If you choose “Copy shared link,” scenario inputs are encoded after the # in
the URL. A URL fragment is normally processed by the browser and is not included
in the HTTP request for the page. Anyone who receives the full link can still
read the values contained in it.
Account context is excluded from shared links, copied summaries and printouts by default. A loss budget originally derived from equity and a percentage is exported as a fixed amount: both the equity and percentage are omitted, along with account ratios and explanations that reveal them. The shared position still contains financial information; this does not make a scenario anonymous.
Include account context in copy, share and print is a separate choice for each calculator draft. Loading any supported shared link turns that choice off for the recipient, including when the incoming link contains account data. Only the active calculator is copied or printed; the inactive draft is excluded. Review a link before sharing it and remove its fragment if you do not want to retain scenario inputs.
Analytics
This site contains no analytics. Adding analytics in the future would require a separate privacy decision and an update to this page before collection begins.
